The White House contains information on the President, the first family, and past presidents and first ladies. One highlight of the site is the "interactive citizen handbook," a guide to governmental information on the Internet. Also available are White House tours and entry into White House "briefing rooms." Enter the briefing rooms to get current information on White House speeches, statements, and press releases as well as current government statistics.

Presidential Addresses are contained in site sponsored by the University of Oklahoma Law Center. It allows the visitor to retrieve all state of the union and inaugural addresses dating back to George Washington. Other historically significant speeches and documents are available.

The Office of Management and Budget assists the President in overseeing the preparation of the Federal budget. It also evaluates the effectiveness of agency programs, policies, and procedures, assesses competing funding demands among agencies, and sets funding priorities. OMB ensures that agency reports, rules, testimony, and proposed legislation are consistent with the President's budget and with Administration policies. Find out what it does and how it is organized. You can search OMB documents via the "OMB locator."
